Why we make these

Most advice is written to be agreed with, not used. You read it, you nod, and nothing about Tuesday is any different.

Our handbooks are built the other way around. Each one is a named system laid out one step to a page, with worksheets you fill in — so you finish holding your own numbers and your own plan, not somebody else’s example. Every figure is checked, and anything that goes out of date is marked with the year and where to verify it.

They are made to be printed, marked up, and left somewhere you will actually see them. If a page doesn’t earn its place, it isn’t in the book.
